    1. I’ve only seen pictures, I’ve never come across a phone box book swap in real life before. I think they’re more common in England. I was pleased they called it a Book Nook rather than a library, which it isn’t – and slightly alarmed by the choice of words in the notice! Disembowelling, even for a phone box, sounds distinctly unpleasant 😉

  1. Hi Anabel .. what a great idea .. and Book Nook is brilliant concept – and I certainly hope people don’t spoil it .. and it won’t need disembowelling … fun. I was in a pub today – I don’t go out often! … but sitting on a shelf was a book about Namibia – I had to have .. the donation went to the local church … and the book will be passed on to other ‘Southern African’ friends (ie we lived there for a while!) … cheers Hilary

  2. this is completely awesome and hilarious – reminds me of a monty python sketch – i can picture one of them opening the door, the books tumble out, and he’s reading a novel as if it’s completely normal and that’s his little book nook!

I'd love to hear what you think!
